Release notes: Still

For a while, we kept circling the same ideas. The stories in that form felt told, and the sound that usually challenged us was not giving us anything new in that moment. Nothing was wrong with it. It just did not feel right to force another track into the same shape.

Then came Ibiza. Somewhere between the sea, little boutiques, old ruins, breakfast tables, unfamiliar smells, sunlight and a much needed photoshoot, everything started to feel more open again.

And after a long winter, a lighter sound simply fit. Still became soft, wide and almost weightless. The kind of track that made the morning drive to work feel easier. It did not ask much from the day. It just carried it for a while.

It was not a comeback, not a break with what came before or a statement about what Solanoxx had to sound like next. It simply felt right for that season.

And underneath it was that what mattered to us:

Still together. Still here. Still creative. Distilled in these words:

Small crowd.
Still underground.
Still Solanoxx.

We were not leaving our sound behind. We just let this track become what that moment needed.
